Dental Assistant

Seeking full time dental assistant to join our growing, purpose- driven team in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Our mission is to be the leading periodontal practice in our field relating to patient care, clinical excellence, and team growth.

Responsibilities:

Dental assistants are responsible for providing Provide hands-on support during surgeries to the dentist and other assistants so they can provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Skills and Experience:

· Ability to ensure patients feel comfortable during their appointment and are well informed about their treatment.

· Ability to work with operate and troubleshoot a variety of dental, scheduling, and other organization software in the office.

· Ability to organize the workspace to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment workspace for our patients, dentists and assistants.

· Knowledge of dental instruments

· Experience administering digital x-rays

· Ability to advise patients on postoperative instructions and on recommended oral hygiene.

· Experience with sterilization or rooms and dental instruments.

· Dental assisting 1 year

License/ Certification:

· X-ray certification for the state of Maryland (required)

· Registered Dental Assistant License (preferred)
