• Candidates must have practical experience performing in-process and final inspections, on assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
• Visually and physically inspects landing gear installation. Check or Verify work after adjustment or repair.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and devises.
• Perform first piece, first article and final inspection.
• Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
• Uses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.
• Recommends modifications to quality standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of the equipment capability.
• Capable of interpreting blueprints.
• Understanding of geometric tolerance
• Coordinates with personnel for resolutions to quality issues
• Maintain in current condition the pertinent Master Documentation (Hard Copy or Electronic) required for the work performed within the Maintenance/Repair Station Operation.
• Ensure that all Master Documentation required to perform work is updated whenever a new article is introduced for maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration.
• Create master work plans and shop travelers in accordance with manufacture specifications.
• Creating and configuring component bill of materials.
• Preparing the submittals for the Engineering Department.

• Quality Control function in FAA Part 145 Repair Station experience: minimum 3 years
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Must be detail oriented and execute with a high level of accuracy.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
