Behavior Interventionist OHR Weekends

Behavior interventionists needed for Out of Home Respite (OHR) weekend program.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and teens with autism and autism spectrum disorders? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as an Out of Home Respite (OHR) behavior interventionist. Our behavior interventionists accompany clients on community outings fostering independence and community integration as well as social activities in small group settings.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in small group activities aimed at promoting socialization and skill building.
• Accompany clients on community outings fostering independence and community integration.
• Manage and address challenging behaviors in a safe and professional manner adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Models and exemplifies TERI's dedication to being “Fit for Life”.

Hours: Saturdays & Sundays 9:00 am – 3: 00 pm Additional hours available during holidays and School breaks.

Rate: $22.00 – 23.00 / Hour

Requirements:

• High School diploma / GED is desirable.
• 1-year related experience preferred.
• Criminal background check required.
• 2 years’ acceptable driving history required.
• Must have a personal mode of transportation.
• Position requires a valid Drivers License.
