General Description:

Our Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for inventory management at a high-mix, low-volume manufacturer in Golden, CO. Must be able to work with cross-functional teams to train on existing processes and constantly improve processes. The Inventory Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of inventory throughout the manufacturing operation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for inventory accuracy and efficiency throughout the manufacturing organization
Supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies
Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices
Leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations
Responsible for training cross-functional teams regarding all inventory related transactions
Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting
Maintains Item setup information in our ERP. Including lead-times, minimum inventory levels, re-order levels & quantities, re-order rules, Unit-Of-Measure definitions, etc. Requires working collaboratively with engineering, purchasing and operations teams.
Contributes to the development of processes and procedures for more efficient operations and the ongoing staff training to support continuous improvement.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or similar
Minimum of five years related experience
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work well with all levels of employees in the organization
Working knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask

Ability to travel up to 5%
