As part of our expanding team, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Quality Inspector Level 2 with expertise in dimensional inspection using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and various measurement hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed dimensional inspections of various components and finished products using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform thorough inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precise measurements.
• Analyze CMM reports and measurement data to identify any deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality personnel to develop and implement inspection techniques and processes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of inspection results, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality control procedures.
• Participate in the development and improvement of inspection procedures and processes.
• Provide guidance and support to Level 1 inspectors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in metrology is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector Level 2, with expertise in dimensional inspection using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM).
• Proficient in the use of various measurement hand tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with CMM programming and operation is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
