Job Description

HVAC Estimator

Position Purpose:

Provide estimates to replace equipment for existing clients. This role will also market our full service offering through acquiring new business clients or through account management of current accounts. Previous field experience and working knowledge of mechanical systems, refrigeration, and plumbing to provide solutions for clients required. This role is also responsible to be our Hill Phoenix representative for select customers by providing knowledge and selling refrigeration cases.

Job Responsibilities:(other job duties may be assigned)

• Provide quotes on repairs or replacement of equipment

• Travel to customer locations on regular basis to gather necessary information to create a quote

• Generate new accounts by prospecting and qualifying potential clients • Develop and maintain client relationships while ensuring client satisfaction

• Work with Project Managers to ensure proper job turnover from estimating to execution

• See job through and follow up with customer upon completion

• Work with other estimators when required to provide a complete estimate as needed

• Presents/prepares/reviews proposals and/or contracts with all buying influences negotiating scope of agreement/project

• Provide field support when needed throughout the job

• Ability to sell Hill Phoenix refrigeration equipment to select customers

Education and Experience Required

• Associate degree preferred, but not required

• Commercial Field Experience

• NH Gas license

• Knowledge of refrigeration and previous installation

Other Requirements:

• Abilities: to read, and interpret mechanical plans and specifications

Effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external clients ability to identify customer’s needs and translate into sales opportunities

Problem solve adapt to individual and teamwork environment o ability to provide solutions to meet customer needs/requirements

Proficiency of Microsoft Office products

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Professional appearance

Strong interpersonal skills, achievement oriented, self-motivated, and organized
