E-Commerce Design Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and maintain assembly drawing images for products as identified by leadership
- Upload and maintain designs and product dimensions within Salsify including hyperlinks to subcomponents
- Assist with creation and testing of Oro Commerce shipping rules and escalated tickets
- Define, coordinate, and execute item onboarding processed for Wastebuilt division
- Assist with creation and delivery of training
- Assist with solution engineering and testing for all technologies used in Ecommerce technology stack
- Research and add missing products and/or components needed for publication of complete assembly for Ecommerce
- Create AutoCAD Inventory drawings that accurately reflect products
- Work on special projects related to data collection as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for Ecommerce team for engineering related information
- Maintain and foster relationships between different divisions in order to work cross departmentally for research on onboarding new parts and their related components
- Assist with testing website functionality as needed
- Maintain image library by collecting, cropping, assigning, and tagging digital assets associated with sellable goods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Design experience in AutoCAD/Inventor
- Minimum of (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing operation, preferably one involving metal fabrication
- Experienced in using Finite Element Analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of Machining, Welding, Fabrication and/or Waste Industry experience a plus
- Must possess an attitude of safety in all aspects of the job
- Must possess technical, problem solving, and analytic skills with ability to think strategically
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to achieve successful results within deadlines
- Must be teamwork oriented
