Currently looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to fill an opening with a company located in Tacoma, WA. Interested candidates

Responsibilities of the Diesel Technician

Perform and/or assist in the performance of general mechanical duties.
Gain experience by working on the following items with minimal supervision: engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up and general maintenance.
Work on major components with supervision.
Perform troubleshooting on minor problems.
Keep work area and facilities clean.

Requirements of the Diesel Technician

Must have their own tools Either Diesel Tech school or verifiable experience.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses preferred.
A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications preferred.
Flexible Concrete truck experience preferred
Welding experience helpful, pay pending experience

Compensation for the Diesel Technician

The starting salary for this position ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience.
