Job Description

• Commercial Construction Estimator
• Salary $75,000 - $100,000 Annually
• Preserve the Trust of our established clients from the past 50+ years of being in business
• Identify labor, material, equipment, & time required by reviewing proposals, scope, specifications, & related documents
• Attend pre-bid meetings, job site walks, & post-bid meetings with our team
• Obtain bids from vendors & subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, & negotiating prices
• Collaborate with our internal team, clients, engineers, architects, insurance adjusters, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Apply knowledge of building, construction, & property restoration materials & methods needed to complete a successful project
• Knowledge of local, state, & national building codes, regulations, and
• Willingness to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture
• Utilize Construction Management software such as Xactimate, Sage, Microsoft Projects, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Commercial Construction Estimating
• 5+ Years Estimating Software Experience
• Current Valid Drivers’ License and Ability to Operate Motor Vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Previous Carpentry Experience
• Xactimate software experience
• Available to travel for out-of-state site meetings

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• At times; lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
