We are seeking an Assembler to become an integral part of our team! You will perform assembly tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Summary
Under general supervision, assemble, test pumps and valves. Performs system overhaul duties which include set up and break down of equipment sent by customer or used for demo. Auxiliary duties include receiving and shipping packages.
Position responsibilities
· Assemble and test mechanical components; such as pumps, valves, applicators.
· Perform planned and corrective maintenance and repair on precision fluid metering and dispensing systems
· Perform disassembly, cleaning, replacing seals, assembling and testing pumps and other components
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs using system troubleshooting methodology and diagnostic tools
· Apply knowledge of mechanics, and pneumatics
· Housekeeping of shop and work area (keeping work area neat and clean) daily
· Learn shipping software, and receive and ship packages.
· Use equipment to load, unload, move, and stack equipment and materials or products.
· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Perform any tasks and/or production duties as requested by supervisor(s) and/or management.
· Must practice good safety habits at all times
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Candidate MUST be familiar with, and be able to use hand tools such as wrenches, drills, and screwdrivers.
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment of Fluid Dispensing products would be helpful, but not necessary.
- Understanding of electrical components and electricity is a plus
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Degree required
- Must be capable of handling chemicals and solvents including acetone, alcohol, cleaning solvents, cutting oil, tool oil, etc.
- Must have good communication ability, both verbal and written
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Must be punctual with good attendance.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., additional weight with assistance
