Position Summary

Work as part of the Growlink team as a Senior Front-End Engineer to help create a superior experience for Growlink’s customers. You will be responsible for work on web-based, customer-facing products, spanning desktop and mobile devices, while providing expert-level platform knowledge and best practices. Design, develop, and deliver complex requirements to accomplish Growlink’s business goals. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain web applications written in Angular with Tailwind and RESTful APIs (.NET) consumed within and outside of your immediate team
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive end-to-end detailed solutions with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the product
  • Challenge the status quo and propose newer, better software engineering practices
  • Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, planning and implementation
  • Designing/developing web-based applications, including prototypes and proof-of-concepts
  • Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, and new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
  • End-to-end engineering design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Participate in Agile development projects and bring technical guidance and leadership to the team
  • Align with DevOps principles and work to improve automation capabilities and development practices.
  • Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management and business units to drive forward results
  • Collaborate with other team members through knowledge sharing and continuously expanding best practices 
  • Conduct code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability, and ease of maintenance, and support gating and review sign-offs for solution design
  • Aim for defect-free programming: create and maintain quality code, provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment
  • Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software design & development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, and object-oriented programming concepts
  • Strong hands-on experience with full stack development using Angular, Java, or C#/.NET and SQL/NoSQL database.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Expertise in portal web development (Responsive and SPA) using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, and well-versed with concepts of Angular Web Components and Material UI or similar component library.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and ES6. 
  • Experience in using Git, repository management, and CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure is a plus
  • You have shown that you can work effectively with product owners, Scrum master, solution designers, and other engineering teams
  • You love challenges and are confident in your ability to bring clarity and direction to ambiguous problem spaces
  • You work well in a fast-paced environment, while deeply investing in long-term quality and efficiency.
  • You have a solid understanding of good design and UX principles and value high-quality style and polish when delivering your work

Benefits

Our client offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package. The base salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.  The base salary range is 120,000 - 145,000 and could be negotiable.
