Our goal is simple: improving access to healthcare in our community and surrounding areas. Neighborhood Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our team. Together, we are all committed to building healthier communities by delivering comprehensive, quality health care with compassion and respect.
As a Registered Nurse you will:
- Screen, assess, and evaluate a participant’s nutritional status.
- Evaluate participant’s nutritional status through dietary assessment and make recommendations in relation to nutritional needs.
- Refer participants to community programs for specialized nutrition services / food assistance.
- Determine eligibility of participants for WIC program based on nutritional status.
- Promote breastfeeding to prenatals. Work with postpartum participants who are experience difficulties with breastfeeding. Make referrals to lactation consultant as needed.
Requirements:
- One-year experience in Maternal and Child Health or Clinic setting, with teaching responsibilities preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
