Position Description:

Sprezzatura Management Consulting, LLC is on the lookout for an analytical and insightful Data Scientist to join our team in the Washington, DC area. We are a dynamic and dedicated Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focused on enabling government transformation. Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insight Generation:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support the Program and broader Business Administrative Services. Develop and analyze studies, utilize advanced data collection and sampling techniques, and present findings to improve program efficacy.
• Perform detailed data analysis to guide strategic decisions and policy-making for the Veterans Administration.
• Utilize advanced statistical and data mining techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and trends.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement strategies that leverage data insights for organizational enhancement.
• Communicate complex data findings to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights.
• Maintain the highest standards of data integrity and adherence to government regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• At least four (4) years of experience in data analysis within a sizeable organizational context.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages, such as R, Python, and SQL, is a must.
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate findings and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science is desired.
• Eight (8) years of experience in data analysis, with prior experience as a federal contractor.
• Demonstrated experience with VA Benefit Programs
