Compounding Production Operators-Plastics

Job Title: Compounding Production Operator with plastics experience

Duration: 3 month contract then hire

Location: Baytown, Texas

shift-. Will train 12hr shifts must me flexible to work either shift ( MUST HAVE VAILD DRIVER LICENSE)

4pm-4am or 4pm -4am

Purpose

Operates all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

1. General Policy
   1. Operate all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials that meet the customer requirements.
   2. Compliance with Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and Work Package Instructions.
   3. Communicate and review status of work in process at beginning and end of shift.
   4. Perform startups and shutdowns of equipment as needed.
   5. Reports decisions, problems, and questions in a timely manner to management.
   6. Must be able to safely operate a fork truck.
   7. Keep a clean and safe work area.
   8. Assist in the completion of special projects.
   9. Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
   10. Uphold the Code of Conduct standards.
   11. Other duties as assigned by the Compounding Production Manager or Plant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

1. Education:
   1. Highs School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience:
   1. Experience a plus but not required, must be willing to learn and follow procedures.
   2. Basic math skills required and detail oriented.
   3. Ability to read, speak, and write English efficiently, preferred.
   4. Must be able to communicate with others and management.
