Purchasing Assistant

$46,000 annually

Cheshire, CT

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant at our client's Cheshire, CT facility. This role has opened up due to the company's expansion.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating orders with vendors, ensuring timely delivery, collaborating with Materials and Production Departments, and maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track component demands.

Skills needed to be a successful Purchasing Assistant :

Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Capability to interpret Engineering drawings accurately.
Completion of necessary reporting and paperwork.

Requirements of our Purchasing Assistant:

1-3 Years of Purchasing Agent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with data entry experience.
Positive attitude aligned with company policies, fostering a high-morale environment.
Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving.
