The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for responsible for the mechanical and electrical build of various assemblies including but not limited to direct contact water heaters, pump skid RO and CMF systems he assembly, reworks and repairs on manufactured equipment and products in accordance with established procedures. This position reads work orders; follows and interprets production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties performed. The Mechanical Assembler II performs assembly work using hand-held tools and soldering equipment, and ensures the products meet quality standards, performing quality work checks.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

JOB DESCRIPTION Assembler III
• Completes proper paperwork for checklist.
• Determines non-conforming material coming from other departments.
• Operates and adjusts tools, gauges, use hand Implement continuous improvement practice to reduce errors
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school degree or GED and 3 plus years of experience working in the assembly, industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing fields. Experience working with hand/power tools, torque wrenches, band saws, sanders/grinders required. Experience with QC or Testing. Electrical experience is a plus, but not required. Experience working with rotating equipment is also a plus, but not required. Must be mechanically inclined and have the drive to learn and grow in the technical space.

COMPETENCIES KNOWLEDGE IN:
• Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

• Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
• Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Multilimb Coordination - The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.
• Standing - The ability to stand for long periods of time while using tools
