Work Schedule: Regular hours are Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Employees may need to adjust work hours during surge situations.

Brief Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly/Mechanic Assembler to join our team. This position requires proficiency in assembling and installing electrical distribution equipment, up to 120V AC/DC circuit wiring, control systems, diesel generators, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, be proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings as well as familiarity with manufacturing shop equipment and common hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, integrate, and test AC and DC circuits, mechanical, and hydraulic components and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate AC and DC electrical diagnostic, test equipment to troubleshoot or evaluate hardware performance.
• Utilize manufacturing shop equipment and common hand tools to build or modify various parts.
• Perform assembly and integration of AC and DC, digital boards and wiring, transducers, cables, and connectors.
• Perform various other manufacturing or test production duties as required.
• Move, lift, or transport heavy equipment with dolly, hoist, crane, and forklift.
• Performs other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Six months to one-year relevant experience.
• Must be capable of passing a drug screen.
• Must be capable of passing a background check.
• Must have strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Must demonstrate positive, polite, and professional behavior always when dealing with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management.
• Must have the ability to communicate using clear, concise, and accurate English; both verbal and written are required.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility to include but not limited to: bending, reaching, climbing, turning, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. Must be able to lift, move, and transport items frequently over 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

Generally, work is conducted in an inside office environment, but may also involve some outside work depending on the task. The inside environment may be in an office or cubicle with close quarters, low to moderate noise, and bright or dim lighting. Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates and while on travel.
