JOB SUMMARY
Wayne County's Health, Human, and Veterans Services Department (HHVS) seeks motivated, dedicated interns to join our Health Fellows Internship. This program offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of health and human services and positively impact our community's health. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the intern will contribute to real-world projects and initiatives. The internship is eight (8) weeks and will begin June 3, and end July 31, 2024.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program or graduate program in public health, public health administration, healthcare or healthcare administration, public policy, social work, or a related field.
Experience:
- Strong interest in health and human services and a desire to make a difference in the community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
