Website and Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Volusion websites, ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Customize and optimize Volusion themes, plugins, and templates to enhance website functionality.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and obtain stakeholder feedback.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and rankings on search engine results pages.
• Perform regular website updates, content management, and troubleshooting to ensure site reliability and performance.
• Monitor website analytics and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and conversion rate improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web design and development.
• Edit and create images for use on websites

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or equivalent
• 5 years relative work experience
• Web Design experience in Volusion preferred with examples of previous work.
• Experience with theme customization, plugin integration, and backend administration.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Understanding with demonstrated success of SEO principles and techniques for website optimization.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a marketing firm or a related field.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with Constant Contact
