Dental Assistant

DENTAL ASSISTANT , with experience, needed approximately 33 hours / week Monday - Friday in our well established and equipped family dental practice in Portsmouth, RI. No nights or weekends. We are looking for an outgoing and reliable team player who shares our energy and enthusism for creating the best experience for our patients. We provide services to patients of all ages.

X-ray certification, digital x-ray experience, and C.P.R. certification are required.

Responsibilities include chair-side assisting, emergency patient workup, room turnover and sterilization, instrument processing, digital periapical and panoramic imaging, supply inventory, and clinical data entry.

Procedures we perform include composite restorations, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges on natural teeth and implants, partials, dentures, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, bite guards, minor oral surgery, and emergency treatment.
