Our team is currently searching for a motivated, thorough, and customer service friendly individual to be a Senior Alarm Technician.

Position Overview

The Senior Alarm Technician is responsible for the servicing of residential and commercial Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV (Camera) Systems.

Responsibilities
  • Establish positive relationships with clients and other trades on site.
  • Explain service processes to customers.
  • Install wiring and devices per project or service ticket plans.
  • Service systems in a timely manner, aligning to company standards.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork per company standards.
  • Perform all duties safely and responsibly to avoid injury, damage to property, and loss of materials.
  • Work independently on different residential and commercial job sites.
  • Be in a rotation to answer customer questions via telephone.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years servicing burglar alarm, fire alarm, access control, and/or CCTV systems.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Clean/good DMV record.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Be able to obtain Alarm Company Employee (ACE) license.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Have or be willing to obtain Fire & Life Safety Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical theory, and construction.
