Part Time Medica Assistant

Advanced Foot & Ankle Wellness Center is seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant in a busy podiatry practice located in King of Prussia, PA. Our practice is looking for a part-time organized and dependable Medical Assistant. This person should have excellent communication and organization skills. 

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. We are Looking for someone with great time management skills who goes above and beyond to provide the best patient care. Personality is vital! The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Requirements include a high school diploma, previous medical assistance experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. **Starting pay is based on experience**

Position is Part-time 3-4 days a week

Must be available to work Monday 11:30pm-7:00pm, Weds 9:00am-3:00pm , Fridays 7:30am-3:00pm and with the possibility of additional hours on Thursdays No weekends or holidays needed.

Dress is scrubs attire.

Responsibilities:

• Scribing- assisting in chart completion and documentation
• Assisting in Medical Procedures
• Performing diagnostic tests such as Xrays
• Processing, Reviewing and completing paperwork
• Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the treatment room.
• Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the treatment room, and prepares treatment room for patients to enter.
• Scanning proper paperwork to the chart for Physician's review.
• Assists Physician with prescribed therapies/DME dispensing.
• Performing Clinical Measurements and Prefabricating Orthotic Devices, as well as assist in other office procedures and modalities as needed. 
• Assists administrate staff in pre-certifications for MRI's and other Physician orders as necessary.
• Returning Messages from Patients as directed by the Doctor
• Medical Assistant will also be cross trained in administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and you will be required to fill in at other positions as needed in order to effectively keep the practice running smoothly and efficiently.
