Automotive Parts Counter Person

Body Shop Truck/Automotive Parts Counter Professional Role is the ideal position for an individual passionate about serving the customer and being part of a winning team.

***Truck Body Shop experience is a strong plus and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bringing customer service excellence to our stores
• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers
• Welcome customers into our shop and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone to serve the customer
• Use your parts knowledge to assist customers and team members.
• Understand and input orders in the system.
• Inventory management

Qualifications

This team player will have strong knowledge and experience of all things automotive, and will bring a passion for delivering customer care to the job every day.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to add value in a fast-paced retail environment
• Knowledge of inventory management systems, a plus
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver license AND/OR reliable transportation with good driving record
• Prior experience in the retail industry, preferably a truck body shop automotive body parts department, dealership, or retail establishment.
• Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 45 pounds.
