Diesel Mechanic Technician

Miller Truck Leasing is hiring an experienced diesel technician to work out of our Shrewsbury, MA shop. Ideal applicants will have experience supporting a diesel fleet and possibly reefer experience along with an interest in advancing their career and technical knowledge.

Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

Requirements

• 3+ years working as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic

• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) OR the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work 2nd shift: Tuesday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Experience working on reefer units is desired; not required
