Certified Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist Assitant

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with our chiropractors and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate athletes' injuries, movement patterns, and physical fitness levels.
- Develop customized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote recovery and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and performance enhancement techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment protocols.
- Stay current on industry trends, research findings, and best practices in athletic training and physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field (for Athletic Trainer position). OR
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program (for Physical Therapist Assistant position).
- Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work part-time shifts (7a-1130a OR 1p-530p) Monday - Thursdays.
