LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Pay rate: $26 an hour

Location: We have multiple locations in NV and we'll submit your profile to the nearest location

The Covid-19 LPN provides testing and education services in a mobile/drive up testing/ or office clinic setting under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant onsite. The individual assists the onsite RN, Medical Assistant and/or other staff in providing testing, education, and instruction to the patient and or family member.

Responsibilities and Standards
• Applies sound clinical nursing practices to testing and education sites.
• Assesses and triages patients for suitability for Covid-19 testing.
• Using Universal Standards and proper Infection Control techniques, performs testing in accordance with CDC, Department of Health and Healthcare Network guidelines.
• Ensures testing and education sites are properly set up and staffed to minimize risk of exposure to staff, volunteers or patients.
• Ensures proper PPE levels are maintained for each event
• Refers patients, or potential patients, to Healthcare Network providers and services
• Complies with company policy and procedures
• Keeps testing and education sites and waiting areas clean per infection control policy and procedures
• Utilizes testing and medical equipment as trained.
• Assists for completion of Covid-19 reports and checklists as requested.
• Performs other related duties as indicated or when requested by supervisor.

Education/Training Level:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.

Licenses and Certifications:
• Licensed to practice as LPN in State of Florida.
• IV certification preferred.
• BLS

Communication Skills:
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to professionally use company's email

Technology Skills:
• Effectively uses Electronic Health Record/documents patient test progress
• Basic typing skills
