Our week night team enjoys a 40 hour per week, Monday-Thursday, 10:00pm-8:00am schedule. Our weekend nights team enjoys a 36 hour per week, Friday-Sunday, 7:00pm-7:00am schedule.

These are great alternative shifts for professionals looking for a little more time off either for the weekends or during the week.Job Summary:Night Shift LOGISTICS COORDINATORThe Logistics Coordinator collaborates with a team of highly experienced logistics operations professionals, whom secure and support the guarantee of service for shipments within a web-based freight management system. Provides high-level service quality and develops strong relationships with customers and service centers through excellent interpersonal and customer... service skills.Essential Duties: Routes and dispatches shipments by phone and computer, in an efficient and expedient manner Maintains pick-up and delivery times for all shipments Tracks the movements of drivers to shippers and receivers in accordance with established procedures, which include Syfan order number, pick-up numbers, directions, and any load specific instructions Takes calls from drivers, to obtain location updates, ensure they are on-time, and identify any possible issues or delays Updates customer with arrivals, departures, delays, etc.

Documents all the daily calls as received stating the exact details of the load at the time of each call Investigates and properly documents all types of product discrepancies such as overages, shortages and damages Communicates with carrier and customer sales of damaged product disposal or discrepancies in count Validates all load data prior to delivery and request documentation as needed Updates Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps of any delays in a timely manner May have to enter loads from customer tenders and emails into the logistics management software Meets individual productivity goals (ex. phone calls made, total talk time, etc.)Experience and Skills: Preferred: 2-3 years of logistics/transportation experience including a general knowledge of transportation procedures and regulations Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, customer web sites, keyboard proficiency) Strong communication skills, both written and spoken Requires high attention to details Must be well organized and logical, with the ability to prioritize tasks Must adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures Self motivated personality with exceptional attendance and punctuality Ability to work in high call volume environment Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients, while able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify problems and works towards solutions Ability to accept constructive criticism in a professional mannerEducation Requirements: High school diploma / GED or equivalent Preferred: High school diploma / GED or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree General understanding or knowledge of the transportation industrySupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.
