Pay: $140,000 - $150,000/yr

We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged IT Solution Delivery Manager to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 610 E. Gish Rd. San Jose, CA and limited job-related travel may be required.

The IT Solution Delivery Manager oversees the operation, planning, execution, and evaluation of GreenWaste’s existing application portfolio and our digital transformation initiatives – the people, processes and technology that drive GreenWaste’s success. They work closely with stakeholders to align the vision, strategy, and goals of the organization to deliver value with the digital transformation roadmap. They act as a liaison between different departments or teams to ensure that everyone is aligned regarding these changes. The IT Solution Delivery Manager has strong technical and business acumen, and can analyze market trends, stakeholder needs, and the competitive advantages of the organization.


As a member of the IT management team, also participates in strategy planning, aligning IT initiatives with business priorities and ensuring exceptional service delivery.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to own GreenWaste’s existing application portfolio (cloud & on-prem)
  • Responsible for investigating, researching, and procuring software applications that meet GreenWaste’s needs
  • Provide ongoing upgrades, improvement and support of portfolio applications across the enterprise
  • Own GreenWaste’s data and reporting solutions (data lake and related tooling)
  • Manage internal software development, roadmaps and lifecycle
  • Consult with business to document existing processes and business capabilities, research best practices and propose future processes in the spirit of continuous improvement
  • Develop a business case for improvements and articulate the value of transformation across GreenWaste
  • Project manage implementations of changes, upgrades, new system or process based on the needs identified
  • Manage the hiring, development, promotion and staff review processes, creating an environment where staff can excel
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity processes
  • Perform other jobs and duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High degree of customer service focus and strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead, manage and coach staff
  • Experienced in budget and cost management
  • Ability to present technical information in an understandable form to non-technical recipients
  • Fluent in business process analysis
  • Significant experience with ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems
  • Experience implementing and managing large scale cloud and on-premise applications
  • Comfort working with internal teams and vendors to identify and solve problems
  • A desire to strive for constant improvement in systems and processes
  • •Extensive experience in business and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in a similar role in a mid-market or larger organization
  • Project management certification highly desired

Language Skill:

  • Proficiency in English

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand in front of a computer for work shift

Work Environment:


Typical work week is Monday through Friday with occasional on-call evening/weekend availability required. Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
