Job Description
We are seeking a Machine Operator - Utility to join our team! You will be directly involved with operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to take ownership in working in a safe environment.
- Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities
- Be able and willing to learn new positions in a short period of time - Incisor infeed, stacker, banding, tagging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
- Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
- Possess good communication skills and work well in a team setting
- Reading, legible writing, and basic math skills.
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to interact positively with coworkers in a production environment
