Cardiotronix, a fast growing technical service company within the Healthcare Industry is looking to fill a Biomedical Equipment Specialist Position.
Individual should be dynamic and enthusiastic. This hybrid position would support the Repair Depot department and the Field Service teams within this fast growing organization.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, calibrate, inspect, and maintain Advanced Life Support Defibrillators, Transport Ventilators, CPR assist devices, Infusion pumps and Aspirators using established protocols and guidelines
· Maintain company database, technical information, service records, parts inventory, test equipment and laptop
· Ensure that all technical service and documentation is complete, accurate and timely
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· AS degree in electronics, biomedical engineering degree or equivalent, military training, or previous medical equipment support role is required. Previous technical support training and experience is preferred
· Familiar with electrical safety theory and applications
· Performs assigned duties in accordance with current policies and procedures
· Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
· Hands on knowledge of medical test equipment and applications
Skillset:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and thinking outside of the box
· Positive customer service skills
· Prioritizes workload according and effectively
· Demonstrates initiative and concern for planning, time management and cost containment
· Reliable attendance history
· Ability to perform in a technical team environment
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
· Verifiable references necessary
