Box Truck Delivery Driver Helper
Full-Time – Great Temp to Hire Opportunity!
1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday - Friday
(Must be available to work overtime when needed)
Pay Rate: $17.00
Get paid every Friday!
Qualified Candidate Responsibilities
- Must have DOT card not expired and experience as Box Truck Driver
- You will start as a driver helper and will be trained to be a driver
- Transport finished goods and raw materials to job sites
- Able to load and unload on the truck (construction material – Heavy lifting)
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
Requirements
- DOT medical card on hand (Required) NOT EXPIRED
- Clean MVR
- Ability to maintain a driving record which meets federal, state and company standards is required
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License (Class "C')
