Level 3 Financial Business Analyst

Summary:

Looking for valuable members for our Financial Analytics and Reporting (F.A.R.) group. Behind every strategic decision is a dataset created by an Analyst. The Level 3 Financial Business Analyst will work closely with team members and key leadership in providing insightful and meaningful reports and analytics to drive change and action recommendations.

Location:

Essential functions:

• Uses software and scripting, typically including Tableau and SQL, to generate metrics and reports and synthesize them into actionable recommendations.
• Assists one or more business teams in understanding and utilizing data.
• Provides support to management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results based on the needs of end users.
• Responsible for leadership reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and/or data QA.
• Collaborates with various function teams such as finance/accounting, business development, and executive leadership to achieve business results.

Our ideal candidate:

• Clearly communicates actionable insights based on analysis performed.
• Has a strong knowledge of performance reporting & analysis, commission/pay models, corporate financial evaluations, and costing/budget/profitability methodologies and processes.
• Demonstrates ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Experience creating and designing scalable report and dashboard templates.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (required)
• Tableau or Power BI (required)
• SQL/MySQL (required)
• Project Management (required)
• Snowflake (preferred)
• Salesforce familiarity (preferred)

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or current related certifications.
• 5 - 10 years of related experience required
