QA Automation Engineer Min 6+ Years Exp Must

Location: Boise, ID ( priority) but any other location, Spring, TX, Austin, TX or Ft Collins, CO 5 days onsite Role

FTE role with Mphasis, only visa independent candidates (GC-EAD/ USC/ L2/ GC/ H4-EAD/ OPT-EAD )

The main duties are:

Build and Maintain Automation testing frameworks for applications (web, client, server, and cloud) using JMeter and Selenium

Understand design specifications and develop high-quality test plans and automation. Convert user stories to Manual/automated tests that can be reviewed by peers

Responsible for the review, setup and execution of test plans and test cases, both manual and automated.

Find the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to customers. Participate in continuous delivery and deployment, take ownership, and strive to become a better problem solver

Participate in software and system performance analysis, tuning, and demand/capacity planning for business critical, large scale, and high availability applications.

Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Using software quality assurance tools and processes.

Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.

Work with global teams to capture requirements and co-architect solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
2. 5+ years strong QA experience.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
5. Strong work ethic with hands on skills
6. Able to build and delivery weekly test reports and daily status reports.

Skills

UI Automation using selenium/other.

Java / Python familiarity

API testing (manual) - using postman, jmeter or other.

knowledge of CI/CD - (Github, Docker, Jenkins, Maven)

SQL knowledge

familiarity with data analytics solution such as spark, MapReduce

Experience in analyzing data in S3, redshift.

familiarity with data analytics solutions such as - Databricks, EMR etc

Experience in AWS services such as - S3, EMR, AWS-IOT, CloudWatch

Windows Client / Windows App testing
