Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for IT Systems Administration of cloud and on-prem infrastructure currently in place and as the environment evolves. Onsite project acceptance and documentation of new construction and retrofits and will be responsible for implementing systems / policies / procedures to maintain and improve the health and functionality of technical systems. Success in this role requires active planning, proactive communication, and collaboration across multiple entities towards supporting the principals, end users and maintaining a secure environment. Must be a highly capable team member, but also work autonomously with minimal guidance. The highest level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required in addition to maintaining a high degree of professionalism.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Administration

  • Provide new user onboarding, device migration and end user support and training across the organization.
  • Onboard, manage and maintain new and current operational services (e.g. Airwatch, Zoom, G-Workplace, Umbrella, Crowdstrike) while ensuring high level of security and reliability with those systems.
  • Management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) with Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) for authentication, user provisioning and Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  • Perform needed user account management, hardware configurations, and remote troubleshooting for all teams and users.
  • Support for existing applications running in the cloud.
  • Best effort to migrate all systems to the cloud.
  • Management of inventory, acquisition, and deployment of new hardware.
  • Arrange and carry out Final Acceptance Testing on behalf of the Company.
  • Server Operating system updates and patch management.
  • Database Server software updates and patch management.
  • Ad hoc Reports.
  • Application of software patches and hot-fixes.
  • Monitoring of systems and the network environment.
  • Other system configuration instructions, as may be required and applicable in the Company's environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Audio Visual

  • Ensure AV experiences are consistent with expectations and reliability.
  • Experience with and knowledge of distributed audio systems for broadcast, conference space and whole house audio solutions including Soundweb, Dante, Sonos remote management.
  • Documentation and training of systems and operation are optimal.
  • Operate and maintain a D-Cinema system for first run content in a world class private cinema space.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS.) from accredited institution OR, equivalent combination of education and experience.


SKILLS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT related infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of designing, deploying, and maintaining
  • A strong understanding of TCP/IP network protocols including DNS, VLANs, and routing. Ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud environments.
  • Ability to create accurate documentation and drawings for the design and support of audio/visual systems and IT related infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of low voltage circuitry and troubleshooting techniques including diagnosing open/closed circuits, as well as operational understanding of Wiegand and OSDP protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as a project leader.
  • Ability to relate well with others without the benefit of always having personal contact.
  • Ability to work in an organized efficient manner with accuracy and crisp follow through.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, set priorities and cope with competing demands.
  • Ability to accommodate a non-traditional work schedule and remain flexible to meet the needs of the family.
  • Ability to perform duties with a high degree of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Candidate will be required to pass a background check
Salary Range
$95,000—$105,000 USD
