Oracle DBA

Job Summary:

• A client of ours in Redwood City CA is looking for a Oracle DBA for a Contract to Hire opportunity.

Mandatory Skills:

• Oracle DBA
• Apex/ORDS, within Linux
• WebLogic, Apache and Tomcat

Requirements:

• Manage Oracle databases, including Apex/ORDS, within Linux environments.
• Administer multi-tenant architecture database, ensuring efficient resource allocation and isolation.
• Perform database upgrades and patching to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues, optimizing queries and configurations.
• Manage Oracle GoldenGate replication processes for real-time data synchronization.
• Troubleshoot application deployment and runtime issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operation.
• Expertise with Apache and Tomcat setup
• Configure and monitor GoldenGate processes to ensure data consistency across environments.
• Utilize shell and Python scripting to automate routine database tasks and maintenance.
• Knowledge in Cloud technologies(AWS, GCP etc), docker, CI CD is highly desirable
• Strong working knowledge in linux based systems are a must.
• Handson experience and knowledge of Oracle databases, including Apex/ORDS, within Linux environments.
• Expertise with WebLogic, apache, tomcat setup

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 10+ years of Oracle DBA Experience.
• Education: Bachelors (required)
