PacWhale Eco-Adventures is looking for marine Naturalists for our upcoming season.

As a Naturalist with PacWhale Eco-Adventures, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the safe navigation and proper operation of the vessel, ensuring a safe environment for all passengers, and educating passengers aboard our eco-tours on Hawai’i’s geology, geography, natural history, ecology, culture, and all aspects of marine life. Our ideal applicant will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in Marine Biology, Ecology, Zoology or Environmental Science, some experience with marine education/interpretation, experience working on boats, and a passion for talking with people about the marine environment. You should be a strong swimmer who is able to work long days in a tropical (hot/humid/wet) environment aboard a moving vessel at sea. Being already on Maui will set you apart from other applicants.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor work visas for this position.

The work you do helps support the mission of Pacific Whale Foundation, a 501(c)(3), by working to protect the ocean through science and advocacy and inspire environmental stewardship.

Come be part of something bigger!
