Oak Ridge Country Club has an exciting opportunity for a Front of the House Manager to lead our service teams. The Front of the House Manager at Oak Ridge is responsible for setting and delivering the service standards and expectations for the food and beverage service team.

The Front of the House Manager is responsible for the hiring, training, and continuous development of the service and bar staff. The FOH Manager will utilize strong emotional intelligence to impartially communicate and motivate the service staff to maximize their potential and the success of the operation. They will be fully engaged to ensure a pro-active approach to enhance the member experience. They will have a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with, and collaborating with all team members, club-wide. Participates in opening and closing shifts to ensure safety and preservation of the club.

The Front of the House Manager will maintain a high level of member contact throughout the service hours. They will be a strong communicator, and an active listener. They will be able to make decisions and work through any member interactions with the ability to diffuse complaints in a peaceful manner. They will be ensuring the service staff is responsible, enthusiastic, and fully trained with adherence to services standards set in place. They will have the ability to prioritize tasks and move through the space delegating and directing staff as needed based on member flow. There will be a open line of communication with the Food and Beverage Director so that staffing levels are at the needed level to match member service.
Requirements
Expected Hours of Work: Due to the nature of our business, the schedule varies based on Club activities. Most Friday and Saturday evenings and Sundays (during high season) are required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

• Polished, professional appearance and presentation
• Strong attention to detail and is able to move fluidly from task to task
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor
• Computer literate and comfortable with technology
• Team-oriented
Preferred Education and Experience
• Three to five years management experience within the hospitality industry preferred, but not necessary.
• Prior serving experience in a fine dining environment
• Excellent time-management skills
