Position Summary

The foam injection technician will be responsible for regularly maintaining and operating foaming equipment related to production.

Essential Duties/Job Responsibilities (Job Duties)

• Use job specific tools and equipment such as miter saws and power drills to complete production as per specifications.
• Set up and spray foam proportioner timer.
• Properly inject 2-part insulation foam.
• Monitor pressure of part A & B foam tanks.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance of spray foam proportioner system.
• Set up workstation for foaming production.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Degree or GED
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and measuring tools
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate job specific tools and equipment including but not limited to Miter Saw and Power Drill
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail

Experience:

• Experience in a light manufacturing setting preferred.
• Previous experience with using/handling spraying foam/equipment.
• Previous experience with miter saw, power drill and measuring tapes.

Requirements:

• Work environment and working conditions are reflective of a light manufacturing setting.
• Perform work on concrete floors for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift and move (push, pull, carry) items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to raise arms above shoulders regularly and freely rotate arms/shoulders to lift/move parts.
• Must be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, bend and squat when needed.
• Work will include repetitive hand, arm, wrist, and leg motion.
• Will need hand and finger flexibility and dexterity and excellent eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
