Commercial Framing Superintendent (QA/QC)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of our construction projects, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and proven experience in framing (division 9).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all field personnel on assigned commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop and implement effective construction plans.
• Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections throughout the construction process, identifying and resolving any discrepancies with plans and specifications.
• Leverage extensive experience in framing (division 9) to ensure proper installation and quality of all structural components.
• Oversee material procurement, inventory control, and deliveries to maintain efficient workflow on-site.
• Manage daily logs, reports, and other project documentation, maintaining a comprehensive and accurate record of construction activities.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce all company safety protocols to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Identify and resolve construction issues proactively, implementing solutions to minimize delays and maintain project timelines.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and leading construction crews to achieve optimal results.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent or equivalent role.
• Proven track record of successfully completing commercial construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• In-depth understanding of QA/QC principles and their application in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated expertise in framing (division 9) construction methods and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
• Proficient in construction management software and quality control documentation processes.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
