Warehouse Associate - Bandsaw & Sandblast Operator - First Shift

NOVA Automation is seeking a skilled, energetic, and reliable candidate to fill the position of Sandblast Operator first shift 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.

Position: Sandblast & Bandsaw Operator

Schedule: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm M-F

Salary Range: $18.50 - $26.50 per hour

*Pay is based on education and experience

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safety guidelines and use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

• Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
• Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
• Load and unload the blast cabinet
• Assist with painting or coating as needed
• Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic math and reasoning skills

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
• Must have good hand/eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and self-directed

• Experience working with or removing heavy metals is a plus
• Previous sandblasting experience or training
• Experience with power tools
