A leading herbal tea company has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator based in Sebastopol, CA. Join a local company who is focused on Quality, Innovation, Collaboration, Humility, Respect and Sustainability.

The Machine Operator will focus on safely and efficiently packing product in preparation for shipment and distribution.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00pm-7:30am (with opportunities for overtime) all candidates must be able to train on second shift 3pm - 11:30pm.

Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.14 + 15% differential for grave and 10% differential for swing shift.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform proper machine set-up procedures; including oiling of the machine, loading of components, and machine clean up at product changeover.
- Maintain activity logs in addition to pulling quality samples and performing frequent product checks.

- Ability to use real-time information system.
- Remove and replace defective or damaged materials & clean machines regularly.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of product, safety, and efficient operation of the machine.
- Able to fix minor machine problems and troubleshoot problems timely.
- Rotate workstations as necessary and operate the case packing machines.
- Assist in the training of machine operators, as necessary.
- Perform any and all other assigned tasks.

Extra awesome:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of production experience
- Handle up to thirty (30) pounds on a repetitive basis
- Highly productive work ethic & spotless attendance

- Experience with Red Zone
