Residential Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property management staff in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Assist with the repair and preparation of vacant units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the property manager or supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems and repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

This is a temp-to-hire position to be assumed after a probationary period. Must have valid identification, and legal to work in the U.S.

Drug testing and background checks required.

Pay displayed is the proposed probationary rate. Actual pay is commensurate to experience. Please have your resume ready.

HVAC Experience and an EPA Certification can earn up to $20 per hour or more.
