Job Description

The Marketing Representative’s primary job function is to oversee all promotions and events at locations across the state of New Mexico. It is the Marketing Representative’s responsibility to plan, implement and ensure the successful execution of strategic marketing promotions and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, entertainment, promotions or related field

• Excellent administrative skills and abilities

• Sales and/or community experience a bonus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing

• Responsible, detail oriented and able to multi-task

• General knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to compose correspondence, manage schedules and projects

• Must possess good time management, organization and recordkeeping skills

• Effectively interface and coordinate activities involving employees, clients and work effectively and professionally with all.

• Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, work independently and handle projects on an individual and/or group basis

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment in handling a variety of situations

• Strong organizational skills

• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner

• Must present self in a well-groomed and professional appearance

• The employee must be able to lift up to 45 pounds

• Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position

MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A LICENSE ISSUED BY THE NEW MEXICO GAMING CONTROL BOARD (includes background check)

Responsibilities

•It is the Marketing Representative’s responsibility to plan, implement and ensure the successful execution of strategic marketing promotions and events.

• Specifically assumes responsibility to make qualified decisions concerning promotions, events and related duties

• Adheres to all gaming, state, federal and local ordinances

• Implement promotional policies and procedures, as directed by management.

• Collaborates with management to develop and implement innovative programs, promotions and events.

• Assists the management with the development and implementation of the promotions and events annual budget

• Works with all internal departments to maximize collaboration

 

• Performs other duties as assigned

 

• Employee will be exposed to inclement weather and a second-hand smoke-filled environment

• Travel within the State of New Mexico is required.
