Weyerhaeuser, in Cottage Grove, OR, has immediate openings for Entry Level Production Workers. This position pays $24.415/hour. Health and Dental benefits, single and family plans, up to $64/month.

Key Functions, to be performed safely:

• Manually sort and guide pieces of lumber on conveyors.
• Use shovel, broom, and/or equipment to clean up work areas.
• Run machinery that sorts, cuts, trims, or finishes lumber.
• Operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be available to work ANY AND ALL SHIFTS NO EXCEPTIONS in a 24/7 operation including nights and weekends.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must attach a CURRENT resume to the application.

Candidate Requirements:

• Wear all safety equipment and obey all safety rules.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely.
• Be able and willing to work ANY SHIFT including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Be able to perform labor-intensive work.
• Be able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas.
• Be able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work up to 3 hours at a time for 10-13 hours.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
