Nursing Assistant Job Description:

Nursing Assistant Benefits:

Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Resident care Instill confidence and trust in residents in a competent and caring manner. Provide hygiene and daily living assistance. This could include toileting, bathing, assisting residents with showers and medication, and escorting residents to and from activities and meals.
• Professional development Maintain any specialized training and, if applicable, perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned resident or area.

Nursing Assistant Requirements:

• Must have a current Washington State Nursing Assistant Certified license in good standing
• Current CPR/First Aide certification preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must meet all Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements related to this position
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read/write in English, and have excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
