THE JOB
This is a Sr Oracle DBA position and requires someone who has Oracle, AWS, RDS EC2. As a Sr Oracle DBA your roles and responsibilities will include:

As a Senior Oracle DBA on the Change Healthcare DB Engineering Team, you will provide both engineering and operational support to CHC's enterprise of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases hosted in both private (on-prem) and public (AWS) clouds.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Sr Oracle DBA who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Sr Oracle DBA would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

Senior level experience with hands-on Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c on Linux/Unix platforms
Strong experience in designing, building, and support of Oracle in Public Cloud: AWS. This includes a strong working knowledge of AWS console/portal, RDS, EC2, Command Line Interface (CLI), Cloud Formation Template (CFT), Storage (EBS, EFS, S3, etc.), CloudWatch,
MySQL experience a plus
PostgreSQL experience a plus
Strong experience with Oracle Security and Auditing
Strong Experience with Oracle advanced features such as Multitenant, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN (backup/data recovery), Oracle Advanced Compression, Oracle Advanced Security Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Oracle Key Vault,
Experienced in production support, resolution of complex operational issues, and performance issues in OLTP and Data Warehouse environments
Strong experience in performance tuning: SQL, Server/Node, Oracle Instance, Oracle Database, Oracle Multitenant
Strong experience Oracle Data Guard configuration and support, including RAC and non-RAC environments
Strong Experience with RMAN, database backup/recovery, including 3rd Party Backup software (e.g., Commvault, NetBackup, etc.)
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Control (OEM): monitoring, alerting, job scheduling, etc. Experience in the integration of OEM with 3rd party monitoring software using SNMP.
Strong experience in large scale migration projects (on-Prem to AWS is a big plus)
Strong experience in physical database design, good knowledge of data modeling, and logical database design concepts
Strong experience deploying Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL in Virtualized environments (e.g., VMWare, Nutanix, AWS, etc.)
Strong experience in process automation, related 3rd party software, as well as in-house solutions
Strong experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting
Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL
Experience in capacity planning and resource usage analysis
Strong Experience in Proof-of-Concept projects, testing and certification of new features
Experience working with Oracle support

Minimum Education: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in Computer Science or Engineering
