Job Description

talech, a U.S. Bank company is seeking for a full-time Senior QA Engineer lead. The role will play a vital role in backend testing, data validation and API test automation. Performs design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk. Creates comprehensive test plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems and creates a plan to coordinate this test data. Creates and executes performance tests to ensure the expected automation performance levels are achieved. Performs, and at times, leads technical staff and partners to investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems. Conducts analysis of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions; participates in feasibility assessments of new automation opportunities and helps determine best approach for automation.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

- 10 or more years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating highly complex processes


Responsibilities:
Performs design, scripting, testing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining and test automations for enterprise data platform and software tools

Automate API testing and end-to-end testing for system integrations
Advance existing and implement new automation frameworks to assist end to end, integration, load, security and performance testing.
Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into tests and test scripts, build and enact detailed test plans and test cases
Build continuous testing pipeline, and performance testing, regression testing and production validation
Perform root cause analysis of bug reports from internal and external stakeholders, triage and track the resolution of the bug fix.
Adopt QA best practices, and being a thoughtful leader in quality assurance


Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites

Strong programming skills with Java, Python, JavaScript.
Experience with Selenium automation tools (WebDriver or WebDriverIO)
Experience with testing RESTFUL APIs or web-based applications in SaaS environments
Experience with API test automation tools such as Postman, Ready API
Experience with SQL
Familiarity with Jira, Git, and agile software development
Experience with performance and load testing
Demonstrated aptitude for triaging, troubleshooting, and thoroughly testing complex systems
Demonstrated leadership to streamline QA processes and activities
Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and teamwork/collaboration skills
