We are seeking an outstanding post-doctoral research fellow to join our geriatric oncology research team and translational outcomes research team in the Division of Medical Oncology at the Thomas Jefferson University . The research fellow will become an integral member of our group and lead research projects that integrate epidemiological and biomarker data .

Training: The fellow's research program and training will be primarily directed by Dr. Grace Lu-Yao, Vice Chair of Medical Oncology and Associate Director of Population Science at the SKCC. The fellow will have the opportunity to work closely with other fellows, residents, and graduate students as well as clinical, biostatistical, and pathology colleagues across SKCC consortium. The fellow will have opportunities to collaborate and be involved with multidisciplinary grant writing and the development of new projects, as well as to mentor undergraduate and graduate students. The fellow will be encouraged to develop their research and grants. Research and training opportunities will help build and strengthen the fellow's skill set, including developing skills in grant writing, gaining and building on national and international collaborations, and fostering the transition toward independent funding and an independent research career. Qualifications

Eligibility: Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. in public health, health services, psychology, behavioral science, epidemiology, geriatrics, or other related fields, and experience with statistical programs such as Stata, R, and SAS. The position requires excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center (SKCC) is an NCI-designated consortium cancer center that includes researchers from Thomas Jefferson University and Drexel University.
