Architect and Design Representative - Orlando/Tampa, Florida (Remote)

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Architect and Design Representative with experience promoting floor covering solutions to the specification community. This person will have the opportunity to create and manage commercial specifications by calling on architects, designers, owners, and end-users in the Orlando and Tampa markets. This person will work closely with the existing William Bird representatives to grow profitable market share. The ideal candidate will be driven, self-motivating, and have a solid understanding of solution selling approaches. They will integrate closely with internal teams and maximize growth opportunities within their assigned territory.

Scope of the Position: This Architect and Design Representative will be responsible for calling on architects, designers, owners, and end-users. They are ultimately responsible for driving profitable business by offering an array of floor covering products across various product categories while supporting some of the finest manufacturing names in the industry. This position requires drive and initiative and the ability to develop personal relationships and turn those relationships into business results. This person must be responsive to their customers’ needs by using text, email, phone, and the latest technology. The person must have the ability to understand our customer’s business, identify potential solutions, and present those solutions with enthusiasm to the point of adoption.
