Job Details

Position Overview: The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for accounting records and financial statements for our consolidated business lines. Will report on performance, will oversee activities of the corporate accounting department including reporting, AP, AR, General Ledger, as well as forecasting and budgeting. Will act as SAP expert and support business lines with implementation where needed.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Direct the corporate accounting team, including reporting, general accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable to perform their duties as required
• Prepare the consolidated financial statements adhering to US GAAP
• Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with external auditors to ensure success annual audit of the company
• Create accounting policies to ensure successful execution of company goals and objectives, while following GAAP. Ensure compliance with said policies
• Ensure internal controls are followed to protect the assets of the company
• Work with the Director, Finance and Accounting to issue the Annual Report to be shared with shareholders and other constituents on an annual basis
• Lead efforts in discovering new opportunities to optimize the accounting processes, and partner with other departments to execute these new processes
• Work with various business area owners (cost center managers) to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs based upon prioritization and direction from the CFO
• Be accounting functional expert in SAP
• Protect the business by keeping financial information confidential
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
• Manager a team of 3-5 employees

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 8+ Years experience in accounting
• Reporting & corporate consolidation experience
• Analysis, Forecasting, and Budgeting experience
• US GAAP knowledge
• ERP Expertise
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Food & Beverage Industry Experience
• SAP Experience
